“ One of my fav Thai restaurants. We love their whole fish with all the sauces bursting with flavor. Their curries are on point and their Nam khao Tod is very good too. We've enjoyed all their dishes including their desserts too. It's a def must try for this authentic restaurant. ”
“ The best Thai and lunch specials around!!!!! Service is fast and amazing, and everyone who works here including the owners are so kind. It's clean inside too! Stop by and try the beef pad Thai, urban Thai sampler and Thai tea!! All 3 are amazing!!! Can't wait to come back to have some mango and sticky rice :) ”
“ Let me tell you something, you've got to try this gem of a restaurant. I've been here, at Urban Thai Kitchen twice and the food is outstanding! The menu is varied and quite extensive. The vegetable egg-rolls are the best that I've ever had. I am not usually a fan of dumplings but the Tulip Dumplings almost had me order another round of them. I didn't double the order because we had Red Curry and the Pad Ginger coming already. They were both excellent. They also offer a delicious variety of Thai teas, both hot and cold. The service was cheerful and efficient. The store was clean and well run. It is right next to Hasta La Pasta in the Kroger parking lot at 99 & Bay Hill Blvd. We were on our way to fight the crowds over in Katy Asia Town when I remembered Urban Thai Kitchen on a Friday night. Easy parking, open seating (there were just two other couples in the restaurant) and for us, just around the corner. I would like to encourage this community to patronize this establishment to enable it to be successful so we can enjoy it for many years to come. It seems to me they could use more customers, let's get them going! ”
“ We had dinner there and everything was very good and fresh. Our waiter was very nice and recommended a couple of plates. The place was clean and not too crowded. We found our Thai place to come back ”
“ This is still my favorite go-to spot in Katy for Thai. I meet the owed/mother and she home cooks everything. She was kind to let me try a Thai tea and now I'm hooked...so delicious! I hope they continue their good food service because they have the best Thai food in the area that is consistently prepared hot and fresh with authentic flavors. Not saying they don't ever mess up an order but they will make it right and resolve the issues for their customers. Give it a try folks, you won't be disappointed. ”
“ Service was impeccable. A nice soup and salad and spring roll for a complimentary appetizer, roti with massaman sauce and then the massaman curry which was delicious. Will definitely be back. ”
“ I was impressed by this unassuming restaurant. Delicious flavors, fresh ingredients, and cooked to order. The service was excellent and attentive. I'll be back to try other menu items. ”
“ This is where the Thai people eat! Excellent authentic food and good service. There's not a thing I don't recommend from their menu, but certainly try the khao soi and dumplings! ”

“ We were looking for a place to snack after a trip to Katy Mills. We also wanted to have Thai food for a change. We went there based on other customer review Ma and they did not disappoint. We tried the Moneybags and Roti with Mussaman curry as appetizers. Moneybags were amazing. It came out piping hot and fried really well. The meat was juicy and shell was crunchy. Pairs well with the sweet sauce that came with it. On the Roti with curry, never a better pair... roti was freshly done and curry was very tasty. Last but not least, we tried their sticky mango rice. It was delicious! If they had Manila/Philippine mangoes, it would have been perfect. The sticky rice and cream was well balanced. Sweet but not too sweet. Price was very reasonable. Portions were sufficient. Staff was friendly and att Will visit again when we are in the area and try their other dishes. ”
